The Harvest Festival Parade in Niederwihl – A perfect blend of tradition and modern entertainment! The Harvest Festival in Niederwihl has its roots in 1936 when the village community laid the foundation for this traditional event. Back then, flower-decorated carts pulled by cows, foot groups, and music bands paraded through the village. Today, the festival is organized by the Trachtenkapelle Niederwihl (TKN) and its support association, spanning three eventful days. For the members of the TKN and the support association, which consists of supporters, family members, and friends, the festival is a challenge every year, but also a source of great joy and community. In the heated festival tent, visitors can enjoy a diverse music program throughout the festival days. Saturday features modern entertainment and rock music, Sunday is dedicated to brass music, and Monday wraps up with dance music for a successful conclusion. Of course, there is also plenty of food and drink available, and a large raffle on Sunday with attractive prizes rounds off the festival program. A highlight remains the grand Harvest Festival Parade on Sunday, which attracts numerous spectators.
