Maxi Schafroth "Fascination Bavaria"

Maxi Schafroth continues his cabaret trilogy with "Fascination Bavaria." From the Allgäu to Munich, he guides us through Bavaria's diversity with biting humor and a sharp eye, ensuring an entertaining evening. Following his first solo program "Fascination Allgäu," cabaret artist Maxi Schafroth seamlessly continues his bizarre observational journey. "Fascination Bavaria" is the second milestone of his meticulously planned cabaret trilogy. According to Schafroth, the idea came to him at the age of seven when he touched an electric fence in Gumpratsried near Eggisried. "That was consciousness-expanding!" says Schafroth, who also received solid cabaret training during his apprenticeship as a bank clerk. In "Fascination Bavaria," the journey takes us out of the structurally weak Allgäu region, across the Lech River, to the acclaimed university city of Munich. There, Maxi Schafroth encounters Starnberg's dentist children in SUVs, Munich's educated citizens in mustard-yellow corduroy pants, and trendy couples with wooden-looking glasses. From BayWa Ottobeuren to the Manufactum rubber boot shelf at Munich's Marienhof, Maxi Schafroth brings us closer to the versatility of the largest federal state in terms of area and acts as a nationwide cultural coach for tolerance and togetherness. With the help of well-founded historical evidence, he raises awareness of Bavarian history and informs us about the first Bavarian settler and forefather "Eusebius the Spineless" from the 9th century and his 40-strong peasant army, the "Frusthaufen," which had advanced on foot to Damascus in the so-called "Igel formation." On his converted ancestral farm, Maxi Schafroth provides solutions for the problems of burnt-out high achievers. The resocialization center for former bankers and the glacier hut seminar "Letting Go!" for overbearing "Helicoptering Parents" earned him a nomination for "Entrepreneur of the Year" in his hometown of Stephansried and catapulted him overnight to second place on Wikipedia's list of the most prominent people from the 78-inhabitant village, right after the miracle healer Sebastian Kneipp. Maximilian Schafroth spared no effort or risk in developing his new program. He found himself in quite precarious situations, including several years of corporate espionage at a major bank, a three-day internship at a kindergarten in Schwabing, and participation in a seminar on breath therapy for executives. From this biographical crossover, Maxi Schafroth creates outstanding cabaret, always underpinned by the rasping charm of his Allgäu accent. He is once again accompanied in "Fascination Bavaria" by heart and mind, and especially by his congenial guitarist and neighbor Markus Schalk. Depending on availability, the children's choir of the Young Union Miesbach will also join the event.
