Guided tour at the Alamannen Museum

Public Tour at the Alamannen Museum Every first Sunday of the month, the Alamannen Museum offers a public tour of the museum exhibition at 3 PM – starting in May 2025 at 2:30 PM (new starting time!). While the ground floor focuses on the early Alamannic period and the time of the migrations, the upper floors cover the so-called Merovingian period, when Alamannia was a Frankish duchy. Among the special finds exhibited at the Alamannen Museum are gold leaf crosses made of thin gold foil, which are considered the first Christian symbols in Southern Germany. For this tour, only the usual admission fee is required.
