Guided hike to watch the sunrise on the Herzogenhorn

Begin the day with a breathtaking sunrise on the Herzogenhorn and feel the power that lies in every new morning. Enjoy the silence of nature and the views over the idyllic Bernauer Hochtal valley. The starting point is the hiking car park in the Hof district. Early in the morning, set off from Hof along the Hofmättleweg trail towards Herzogenhorn (1,415 m). On the way to the second-highest peak, Herzogenhorn, you will follow the nature trail to the summit. You will reach the summit just in time for sunrise at around 7:45 a.m. and can enjoy the breathtaking view. The climb is well worth it.
