Guided hike to the sunrise at Herzogenhorn

Start the day with a breathtaking sunrise at Herzogenhorn and feel the power that each new morning holds. Enjoy the tranquility of nature and the views over the idyllic Bernauer High Valley. The starting point is the hiking parking lot in the district of Hof. Early in the morning, you will head from the district of Hof along the Hofmättleweg towards Herzogenhorn (1,415 m). On the way to the second highest peak, Herzogenhorn, you will take the nature trail to the summit. Just in time for the sunrise at around 07:45, you will reach the summit and be able to enjoy the stunning view. The ascent is worth it.
