Show garden in the wildlife and leisure park

At the "Boundless Garden Rendezvous," the show garden in the Wild and Leisure Park opens its gates. Those seeking harmony between flora and fauna will find it with us. We delight visitors with a variety of plants and animals that make the 75-hectare park both interesting and lovable. Over 5,000 m² of flowerbeds and plant islands with summer flowers, around 1,400 species and varieties of perennials, approximately 1,500 roses in over 200 varieties, as well as topiary in various forms. From mid-May to October, nearly 1,000 cacti and other succulents bring a touch of exoticism. A special highlight is the "Green Classroom" featuring a butterfly garden, a wild bee hotel, and an herb spiral, along with medicinal plants according to Dr. A. Vogel and Hildegard von Bingen. Visits: Daily from 10 AM to 5 PM (fee required). Groups of up to 25 people only by prior arrangement. Guided tours: June 26, July 24, and September 25, 2024, each at 5 PM, meeting point: parking lot at the Mindelsee country inn. Admission and guided tour on these dates are free. Accessibility: By car: via the country roads Radolfzell – Markelfingen – Langenrain/Kaltbrunn or Allensbach – Kaltbrunn – Wild Park; by bus/train/boat: City bus Radolfzell line 8, hourly from Radolfzell train station from May to September; walking route from Markelfingen train station along Mindelsee towards the Wild Park (approx. 1.5 hours).
