Gregor Gysi, born in 1948 in Berlin, is a lawyer, author, podcaster, moderator, and politician. From 1990 to 2002 and from 2005 to 2015, he was the parliamentary leader of the PDS, and later of the party "Die Linke" in the Bundestag. There, he served as the foreign policy spokesperson for the Left faction from 2020 to 2023. Gregor Gysi is also a successful author, including his bestselling autobiography "A Life is Too Little."
