With songs like "The Sound of Silence" and "Cecilia," Simon & Garfunkel created poetic anthems for an entire generation. As a message of hope, "Bridge Over Troubled Water," a composition of simple beauty, entered music history two years later. The duo Graceland intensely explores the musical spirit of their predecessors and successfully tours the country with the program "A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel." Thomas Wacker (Paul Simon) and Thorsten Gary (Art Garfunkel) quickly recognized that the music of Simon & Garfunkel is perfectly suited to combine the countless classics of the world's most famous folk rock duo with the unmistakable sound of a classical string ensemble, giving this music a whole new, distinctive tone. The interplay of the two voices and two guitars with the classical instruments transforms the songs of Simon & Garfunkel into an expressive and extraordinary musical experience. Concertgoers can expect an evening full of emotion, a tribute to the 60s and 70s, and a musical diversity that is rarely seen. With a band and quartet, they traverse the heartfelt songs and "rock" their audience in other places. Tickets are available at all known advance sales outlets, online in the ticket shop on the organizer's website www.echt-hartmann.de, and at all popular ticket portals. The concert begins at 8:00 PM, and doors open at 7:00 PM at the STADTHALLE SIGMARINGEN on Georg-Zimmerer-Straße 4 in SIGMARINGEN.
