Traditional market with a merchant market and horse demonstrations. The Öhringen Horse Market was first held on February 4, 1823, by royal decree, and was known as the "Öhringer Roßmarkt." Over time, this "highest Öhringen holiday" has developed into an event magnet that takes place every third Monday in February, vividly combining horse tradition with innovative agricultural technology, a merchant market, a Sunday open for shopping, and an entertaining supporting program.
