As part of the anniversary hikes, there will be 5 half-day tours on the Brettachtal circular hiking trail.

Stage 4 - Sunday, September 21: Neuwirtshaus - Frohnfalls - Gleichener See - Geddelsbach
Hiking distance: approx. 11 km
Meeting point: Bus stop Educational Center Bretzfeld - 12:45 PM
Start of the hike: 1:00 PM
Return: around 5:00 PM
Registration by September 15, 2025
Highlights: hexagonal Roman tower, Limes viewpoint with a view of the Hohenlohe Plain
Note: The route runs on forest paths, nature trails, and field paths, so please wear suitable footwear!
Break: A rest stop with the usual refreshments is planned.

Highlights: Protestant church in Bitzfeld, the quarry, and the site of the former castle of Weißlensburg.

Stage 2 - Sunday, May 18: Steinerner Tisch - Dimbach - Wieslensdorf
Hiking distance: approx. 10 km
Meeting point: Bus stop Educational Center Bretzfeld - 12:45 PM

Highlights: Here we will learn how the Steinerner Tisch likely got its name. From there, the hike continues over forest and vineyard paths to Dimbach. After leaving Dimbach behind, we will cross the Sperbelhau forest area and reach the destination Wieslensdorf.
Note: The route mainly runs through forest areas on mostly unpaved paths.

Stage 3 - Sunday, July 13: Steinknickle - Maienfels - Brettach - Schönhardt - Neuwirtshaus
Hiking distance: approx. 9 km, 200 meters of elevation gain
Meeting point: Bus stop Educational Center Bretzfeld - 12:45 PM
Start of the hike: 1:00 PM
Return: around 6:00 PM

Highlights: At the observation tower Steinknickle, we enjoy the view all the way to Katzenbuckel in the Odenwald. Afterwards, we alternately walk through forest and fields towards Maienfels, where the castle and church invite us to visit. Our path then steeply descends to Brettach, where we will take a short break. Refreshed, we will head up over Schönhardt to Neuwirtshaus.
