## 96th Hammond Jazz Night Special Guests: Jürgen Waidele & Arno Haas No other singer, pianist, bandleader, or arranger has shaped the South German jazz and soul scene over the past 50 years quite like the Konstanz-based musician Jürgen Waidele. His performances with his band “Conversation” are unique, his piano playing is spectacular, and his vocal performance is captivating. It’s no wonder he’s also known as the “Al Jarreau” of Lake Constance. Jürgen Waidele’s voice has soul and that unique, charismatic sound. And suddenly it’s no longer a voice, but a trumpet or a drum set. That’s Waidele live! Of course, Arno Haas—Jürgen Waidele’s congenial partner on the saxophone—can’t be left out. The two have been performing together on stage for over 30 years now.
