Hammond Jazz Night Special Guests: Jürgen Waidele & Arno Haas No other singer, pianist, bandleader, and arranger has shaped the southern German jazz and soul scene in the last 50 years as much as the Konstanz musician Jürgen Waidele. His performances with his band "Conversation" are unique, his piano playing is spectacular, and his vocal performance is captivating. It's no wonder he is also called the "Al Jarreau" of Lake Constance. Jürgen Waidele's voice has soul and that unique, charismatic sound. And suddenly, it is no longer a voice, but a trumpet or a drum set. That's Waidele live! Of course, Arno Haas – Jürgen Waidele's congenial partner on saxophone – must not be missed. The two have been sharing the stage for over 30 years now. Adding to this is the magic of the Hammond sound, celebrated by Reinhold Hettich: resonant, smacking – sometimes gentle, sometimes hissing, and always fascinating.
