With great pleasure, Urban Priol dissects the socio-political events of the past year, making outrageous connections and uncovering astonishing backgrounds. Hardly any relevant topic from the past year remains untouched. The maneuvers of the powerful and wealthy are exposed, and many a double-tongued hypocrisy is revealed—almost no significant issue from the past year is left unaddressed. His rapid, powerful verbal presentations are underscored by his pronounced acting and parody skills, as Urban Priol has indulged in the joy of theater since his student days (the meticulously organized folder with the working title "Master's Thesis," on the other hand, remained empty for his entire life except for a register). The expectations of the audience are not low in this program: even if he allows himself the occasional pun ("I don't perform for the feuilleton!"), it is beneficial to be politically informed to catch the often subtle allusions of the mocker. But the cabaret artist himself, who almost overflows with brilliant ideas and punchlines and always has something to say about current topics, faces a tremendous challenge: this agile whirlwind finds himself in a constant race against time, which seems painfully limited to him in just one evening. A year in one evening, indeed, zefix! Priol's 2025 – crazy, funny, merciless. And so, after two and a half hours, the audience leaves his program thoroughly entertained, feeling that time has passed as quickly as the bygone year – far too fast. Here’s to a new beginning!
