Mälscher tradition: the horse pilgrimage to Letzenberg with horse blessing. More and more dogs and small animals are also taking part.
It has now become a tradition – the horse pilgrimage to Letzenberg in Malsch. Every year on the third Sunday in September, a procession of horses and carriages makes its way from St. Catherine's Chapel in Malsch up to the pilgrimage church on the Letzenberg. After the blessing of humans and animals, the participants gather at the Letzenberg Animal Park's autumn festival, which takes place at the same time and offers plenty of food and drink.
