Mälscher Tradition: The horse pilgrimage to Letzenberg with horse blessing. More and more dogs and small animals are also participating. It has now become a tradition - the horse pilgrimage to Letzenberg in Malsch. Every year on the third Sunday in September, a procession of horses and carriages moves from the Katharinenkapelle in Malsch up to the pilgrimage church on Letzenberg. After the blessing of humans and animals, the participants gather at the autumn festival of the Letzenberg Animal Park, where food and drink are plentiful.
