Experience hike to Ketterberg

Experience a special hike through the picturesque nature surrounding the sun-kissed Ketterberg, with its characteristic dry stone walls. An experienced wine guide will take you into the fascinating world of viticulture. Along the way, you will taste two selected wines and learn exciting facts about the history of winemaking in Bad Mergentheim – from its origins to its current development. In spring 2022, the city established a new "Blooming Vineyard" that combines cultural history and biodiversity. At the same time, you will learn a lot about the planned restoration and enhancement of the Ketterberg natural area as part of the state garden show development. The highlight of the hike is the breathtaking panoramic view of the historic old town and the residence palace – a moment to pause and enjoy.

Starting Point & Schedule
The tour begins every Tuesday at 3:30 PM at the parking lot by the Wolfgang Chapel. To kick things off, you will be welcomed with a sparkling Secco before heading together towards Ketterberg.

Good to know: Please wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing. A small water bottle for the journey can also be helpful. Look forward to a delightful break amidst a beautiful landscape!

Cost: €15.00 per person, €10.00 for holders of spa cards, students, and people with disabilities
