My Generation – Being Young in Tübingen

What moves young people through the different decades? The special exhibition "My Generation – Being Young in Tübingen" offers a multifaceted, collage-like glimpse into this unique feeling of youth across approximately 200 square meters. Between mementos from "former youths," accompanying anecdotal stories, and specific highlights from Tübingen, a vibrant portrait of "youth" emerges, with themes that seem to repeat across generations. The centerpiece of the exhibition is a youth room – designed by young people for young people. In a workshop with 12 to 15-year-olds, it will be collaboratively planned, furnished, and brought to life before the exhibition opens. This space will then be exclusively accessible only to young visitors – everyone over 18 must stay outside! Within the exhibition, a retreat is created for chilling, chatting, experimenting, and simply being.
