Save the Date - 18th Uhldinger Pile Dwelling Marathon

RUN THROUGH PARADISE On May 9, 2026, the 18th Uhldingen Stilt House Marathon, one of the most beautiful nature runs in the Lake Constance region, will take place. The start and finish area is located in the harbor area of Unteruhldingen. Runners can enjoy magnificent views while doing something good for their health on May 9, 2026. The starting gun will signal the beginning of the 18th Uhldingen Stilt House Marathon, passing four of the most beautiful sights in the Lake Constance region: Stilt Houses, Salem Castle, Affenberg, and the Birnau Basilica. Right at the beginning, the half-marathon and 10-kilometer runners will run past the Stilt House Museum located directly by the lakeshore. The further course of the route is equally appealing. Following the shores of Lake Constance, the path leads runners through vineyards and fields to Salem Castle and Affenberg, and from there along the Prälatenweg, passing directly by the baroque Birnau Basilica, back to the start-finish area. In addition to the half-marathon, which is primarily aimed at well-trained participants, there is also a shorter run of 10 kilometers or 4 kilometers for less ambitious participants. A circular route of 10 kilometers has been established for Nordic walkers. For the youngest participants aged 6 to 15, the Kids Run offers a fantastic sporting experience. By the way, the Uhldingen Stilt House Marathon is certified as a Green Event BW – because we care about our environment. As organizers, we pay attention to the sustainable execution of our event, such as consistent waste reduction and waste separation. You can also do something for the environment by coming to our running event using public transport or by bike.
