Organ Concert

You are cordially invited to the organ concert by Thiemo Janssen. From South to North - Baroque masterpieces by Sweelinck, Scheidemann, Buxtehude, Böhm, Pachelbel, Muffat, and Bach. The organist Thiemo Janssen invites you on a musical stroll through the Europe of the Baroque period. In addition to his international concert and teaching activities, he serves as the organist, together with his wife Agnes Luchterhandt, at the world-famous Arp-Schnitger organ of the Ludgerikirche in Norden/Ostfriesland. He has recently been appointed as an organ expert for East Frisia. Since Thiemo Janssen grew up in Denzlingen, he has been familiar with the Winterhalter organ since his school days, when he often came to Buchholz for organ practice. He has also maintained a connection to the concert series, in which he will now perform his fourth concert.
