Exhibition of the Allgäu artist Max Schmelcher. The exhibition will be on display from September 12 to November 30, 2025, at the Nature Conservation Center in Wilhelmsdorf. The artist is intensively engaged with the artistic possibilities of peat soil, as well as the biological-ecological dimension of this habitat. His exhibition presents a cross-section of his artistic interpretations of the material and theme of moor and peat soil, whose peculiar and original consistency opens up diverse creative spaces and becomes newly experienceable through alienation. Exhibition opening: On September 12, the exhibition will be inaugurated at 6:00 PM with a vernissage in the presence of the artist. The exhibition can be visited during regular opening hours: Tuesday to Friday: 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Closed on Mondays!
