Exhibition in the Parish Barn Ilshofen "Views"

Discover a versatile exhibition featuring works that straddle the line between figuration and abstraction. She was long inspired by landscapes – the gentle hills of the Piedmont vineyards with their distinctive geometric patterns were just the beginning. In drawings, paintings, woodcuts, and monotypes, she playfully experimented with forms, colors, and materials. Later, the human figure returned to the forefront: tango scenes, overpainted calendar pages, and literary quotes became part of her work. She employs the technique of gradual abstraction: only when she has deeply understood the motif does she free herself from reality and allow her own visual language to emerge. Currently, she is working on an exciting calendar project: every day, a sketch is created based on a Polaroid photo – here, it is less about an exact representation and more about playful and creative engagement. In the exhibition at the Pfarrscheuer Ilshofen in 2025, titled "Views," you will gain insight into her recent works. You can expect primarily figurative pieces, executed in acrylic on canvas or in experimental mixed media incorporating elements of graphics, painting, and collage. It is always about her personal perspective on the world – an invitation to discover your own viewpoint as well.
