31st Durlacher Tower Mountain Run

The Turmberglauf, contrary to what the name might suggest, is a flat 10 km run through the old town of Durlach and along the Pfinz River. The starting signal will be given at 4 PM on the Durlach marketplace by our chairman, Mathias Tröndle. The route (10 km) begins at the marketplace, first leading through the old town on Pfinztalstraße and the so-called Altstadtring, then along the Pfinz and through the green lungs of the old residence city towards Grötzingen, and ultimately back to Durlach city center for the finish line at Saumarkt. The starting signal will be given at 4 PM on the Durlach marketplace by our chairman, Mathias Tröndle. The distribution of starting numbers, late registrations, refreshments, and changing rooms for both races will take place at the Weiherhofhalle Durlach. The distribution of starting numbers and opportunities for late registration will open at 11:00 AM, with late registrations possible until 30 minutes before the start of each race (children's race until 12:30 PM, main race until 3:30 PM). The final award ceremony will also take place in the hall at 5:30 PM, accompanied by the inclusive band "Dickes Blech." Participant prizes can also be collected here. The children's races will start at 1 PM in the castle garden and are divided by age group and gender. The youngest age group (2021) will start with the girls, followed by the boys (2021), and then the next age group, with intervals of about 5-7 minutes. Depending on the child's age group, the start may be slightly delayed. It is not necessary for everyone to gather at the starting point at 1 PM! Approximate start times will be posted on the day of the race in the Weiherhofhalle.
