Benefit concert with the Frohsinn Sasbach choir

Benefit Concert The Frohsinn Sasbach Choir will perform spiritual songs "Like in Heaven" on this evening. Following the concert, there will be a gathering in front of St. Konrad Church, supported by the Sasbach-Obersasbach church choir. On October 25, 2005, the support association for the Erlenbad nursing home – which was still under construction at the time – was founded. Now, 20 years have passed. A reason to celebrate. The Erlenbad Nursing Home Support Association e.V. and its board members are actively engaged in various ways for the concerns of the nursing home. This year, the support association is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has raised over 70,000 euros for the needs of the residents with its motto: "Growing old close to home together." This money is used for aromatherapy, small celebrations or exhibitions, as well as for the house cat Greta. New this year was the acquisition of a rickshaw, for which volunteer drivers are still being sought for bus rides with residents. Floral decorations for the balconies, participation in the local Christmas market, and hosting and contributing to the St. Nicholas celebration or during Carnival were also part of the activities. Additionally, new benches around the nursing home are currently being planned, which will be organized by the support association. Rehearsals for the benefit concert with the Frohsinn Sasbach Choir are currently in full swing. "Like in Heaven" promises to be a musical delight, just as it was during its premiere at the Erlenbad Monastery Church.
