Men's choir "Walhalla zum Seidlwirt" Wiener Horn Ensemble When the gates of Walhalla open, it is not in the thunder of war, but in the sound of sonorous male voices – full, warm, and with a wink. The ensemble of these charming singers rises from the Bavarian cultural landscape like a song from the hop fog. Alongside them, the horn ensemble from Vienna, unique, majestic, earthy, and with a richness of sound as if the Vienna Woods itself were breathing. The vocal ensemble MGV "Walhalla zum Seidlwirt" and the Wiener Horn Ensemble (including the Vienna Philharmonic) ignite a chamber music fireworks display. Between Vienna, Berlin, and all of Europe! Whether as a quintet, quartet, or as a nine-member horn singing group with works by Schubert and Mendelssohn, as well as Croatian, Yiddish, Austrian, and Ukrainian folk songs, and the occasional hit, everything is possible and everything is allowed.
