Enjoy kettle meat and fresh sausages, prepared as they were in traditional home slaughtering. Experience the typical tasks that took place in the home and yard during autumn 100 years ago. Children can actively help with the potato harvest.

Autumn Crafts
Experience traditional activities such as shredding cabbage, canning, and threshing with a flail. Flax farmers, blacksmiths, brush makers, as well as saddle makers and weavers will showcase their skills. Gather fascinating insights into the art of brewing beer using old recipes. The historical bandsaw and horse-powered winch will be in action.

Children's Participation Program
Children can steam potatoes in a historical potato steamer and taste them. A crafting program provides creative entertainment. The mini steam trains of the Swabian Railway Association invite you for a ride.

Project
As part of the cooperation project "1 sqm Flax," we invite project participants to break and process their self-grown and harvested flax today together with the flax farmers of Mettenberg. You can find information about the project at https://1qmlein.de – Questions regarding participation in Kürnbach will be gladly answered by Torsten Albinus (torsten.albinus@biberach.de, 07351-526792).

Food & Drink
Sausage platter, fresh sausages & kettle meat, liver sausage & fried potatoes, freshly steamed potatoes, delicious treats from the historical baking house, Swabian specialties, coffee & cake, drinks, ice cream & snacks, wood-fired oven dishes.
