Werner Haar: The Circumnavigation of the Baltic Sea

Images-Music-Stories In Summer to the North: For Kristine Schmid and Werner Haar, traveling with their motorhome has been an option for years! Last year, they circumnavigated the Baltic Sea along its picturesque coast: nine countries were visited, unique natural landscapes explored such as the Curonian Spit, the Estonian National Park Lahemaa, the archipelagos, the Norwegian "Riviera," and fascinating cities like Oslo, Hamburg, Stockholm, Riga, Gdansk, Tallinn, Helsinki... and as always, encounters with locals enriched their journey. For several thousand years, the Baltic Sea has been the center of Northern Europe, facilitating the exchange of goods and knowledge, ideas, and cultures. The struggle for dominance around the "Mare Balticum" has often been fought. Musically accompanying the presentation by Werner Haar are violinist Ulrich Großmann and pianist Felix Schäfer.
