Jeremiah Wood - Dance

Self-taught guitarist, singer, and composer from the city of blades, Solingen. His music can be described as lyrical, featuring catchy yet unobtrusive melodies. Jeremiah Wood's original compositions are diverse, ranging from danceable Irish folk, samba ballads, and jazz blues to atmospheric impressions. The title of his program, "Dance," is an invitation to not only explore the usual forms of dancing but also to dare to engage in the quiet, gentle, and mindful dance—perhaps even with one's own soul. Jeremiah Wood proves himself to be a master of his instrument, but he primarily captivates with his distinctive voice and the refined songs, all of which are his own creations. With his sung original compositions and the impressive variety of his mystical string play, he perfectly harmonizes a wide range of musical contrasts. His performance is a well-targeted strike against the media-tinted, stress-filled, hectic routine of everyday life.
