The trio led by guitarist Lorenzo Petrocca focuses on pieces by great jazz guitarists such as Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, and many more. In addition to the standards of the American Songbook, Italian songs are also part of the program. The music of this trio is born from the tradition of great jazz guitarists like Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, and Pat Martino. Bebop, Bossa Nova, ballads, and blues are the main elements of the trio. The band's repertoire consists of "Standards From The American Songbook." Italian songs are also presented from time to time. In addition to trio pieces, Lorenzo enjoys playing rare solo pieces from his current solo album "My Foolish Heart," which has been nominated for the German Record Critics' Award. So, music that is entirely dedicated to jazz guitar! With Lorenzo Petrocca on guitar, Baden-Württemberg Jazz Award winner Axel Kühn on bass, and Lars Binder on drums, three musicians of European top class come together. They can be heard at many festivals and clubs across Europe.
