Two women, Sally, young, angry, and fleeing from everything and everyone, and Liss, in her late 40s, who manages a farm alone and is also a loner, meet by chance. Through affection, they manage to find ways out and heal old wounds. The central theme of the stage adaptation of Ewald Arenz's bestselling novel is: When does true closeness arise, and when do we allow it? When do we feel confined, and when do we feel free? The topics negotiated between the women include: roots, home, family and parent-child relationships, old traumas and new challenges, friendship, rebellion, and healing, providing space for various discussions. Transformation processes in rural areas have their place, as do the ripening of fruit and agricultural activities. These connect with the women's development process without romanticizing it. How is healing possible despite the traumas of the past? The audience undergoes a maturation process alongside the women. In addition to themes of self-discovery and friendship, the autumn landscape plays a central role. How can we find new perspectives?
