15 KM hike to Rankmühle near St. Märgen

The challenging tour begins at the Zweribach hiking parking lot and leads past the former Brunnenhof, Hirsch waterfalls, Hohwart rock, and Birk rock to Rankmühle. From there, the route returns to the starting point via the Kirchweg. Duration is approximately 5.5 hours, with about 550 meters of elevation gain. Requirements/equipment: sure-footedness, good footwear, possibly trekking poles, and packed food. There are no opportunities for refreshment along the route. Meeting point: 09:30 AM at the motorcycle parking lot Schwer/Gasthaus Rebstock to form carpooling groups or 10:00 AM at the Zweribach hiking parking lot.
