New Year's Concert

Mössingen New Year's Concert with the Württemberg Philharmonic Reutlingen and Vocal Soloists

The next Mössingen New Year's Concert will take place on Sunday, January 4, 2026, featuring the Symphony Orchestra "Württemberg Philharmonic Reutlingen." The concert begins at 7:30 PM in the auditorium of the Quenstedt Gymnasium, entrance via Otto-Merz-Strasse, with doors opening at 7 PM. The orchestra will once again put together an attractive program from its rich repertoire, this time under the motto "With Spanish Temperament into the New Year!" Arias from zarzuelas and operas, as well as the sounds of castanets, will bring a Spanish flair to the Quenstedt auditorium. Joining the concert will be a virtuoso of this ancient percussion instrument, Belén Cabanes, who hails from Barcelona. The Spanish tenor Eduardo Aladrén will also perform as a singer. The concert will be conducted by Thomas Herzog, a conductor specializing in Spanish music. Works by Bizet, Verdi, de Falla, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Vives, Albéniz, and many others will be featured. Ticket sales are expected to start in mid-November, exclusively at the Mössingen Town Hall.
