Police Music Freiburg

Matinee concert conducted by Martin Jäckl. The orchestra, founded in 1972, consists of active police officers, retirees, members of the volunteer police service, and music enthusiasts from other music associations, all hailing from the entire jurisdiction of the Freiburg Police Headquarters. In total, the approximately 45 women and men are all amateurs who showcase their talents in this wind orchestra, not only at police events but also at concerts in public squares, open house days, and other events both domestically and abroad. The wind orchestra is led by Martin Jäckl. Its extensive repertoire includes all areas of wind music, such as concert pieces, marches, polkas, as well as musical and film music, and arrangements of modern pieces.
