Theater Project Frick-Mühle: Minna Frick - A Life for the Mill

In the midst of the visitors, the theater group from the Frick Mill transforms the entire mill into one large stage. From the very first moment, the theater group takes the audience back to the real life in the mill back then, on Sunday, September 25, 1892. The authorities at that time observe all suspicious activities in the city with great distrust. The mill, along with Minna Frick, the miller, also comes under the watchful eye of the authorities. With rumors and various intrigues, her opponents try to make her life difficult. However, soon an even greater enemy begins to threaten the mill's existence. Large industrial mills with new technologies ruthlessly drive the old artisanal mills to ruin. Can there still be room for a love story in such a dramatic situation? Love has a hard time in this era. Is its power stronger than moral values and economic pressures? Perhaps, but only if... The ending of the story is as surprising as the entire plot. For both the audience and the participants, this is a good reason for a joint celebration – of course with, but not only with, wine and bread. The play is suitable for visitors aged 12 and up. All of this is included in the ticket price of 12 euros (free admission for those under 16). The mill and all participants welcome small and larger donations.
