Who was Radolt?

The Ratoldus School aims to explore the historical background of its name with the students and organize an exhibition about the life and work of Ratoldus. The exhibition "Who was Radolt?" addresses the questions of why and since when the school has borne this name. Together with the students, the historical background of Bishop Radolt, his work in Radolfzell, and the naming of the Ratoldus School will be researched. The goal is to create a small exhibition about the life and work of Ratoldus and his significance for Radolfzell today. For this purpose, the students will learn about historical research and gain more insight into the history of the city. The knowledge acquired will be presented in a portable permanent exhibition in the school building and shared with the extended school community through informational texts on the school website. In line with the school's concept, care will be taken to include inclusive elements in the exhibition. Following this, subsequent projects can be implemented at the school.
