95. Hammond Jazz Night The centerpiece of the musical fireworks is the original Hammond B3 organ with its unmistakable and captivating sound. From delicate and soothing to brash and dominant - masterfully played by Reinhold Hettich. Writing about Arno Haas is easy, as he belongs to the "cream of the crop" of German jazz saxophonists and has accompanied the Hammond Nights at (almost) all concerts since 2006. We are proud to have him with us at the 95th Hammond Jazz Night. Jörg Bach, a "swing and Latin" expert on drums, is also one of the "veterans" of the Hammond Jazz Night series. Look forward to one of his legendary drum solos. The quintet also includes Romanian guitarist Rares Popsa, who is the "established" guitarist at the Hammond Jazz Nights as well as in Reinhold Hettich's Hammond Jazz Trio. The quintet is completed by American Joe Kenny on vibraphone. Once a student of Dizzy Krisch, he now plays at the level of the great jazz vibraphonists. Joe Kenny impresses especially with his creative improvisations and outstanding musicality. Smokin' B3! This means a spectacular dose of jazz, Latin, and soul.
