Object karaoke - The thing from the storage room

Object Karaoke is an innovative event format that originated in the poetry slam scene. It combines objects with improvisational theater. Object karaoke featuring exhibits from the Radolfzell City Museum. Host: Johannes Elster In the museum, we marvel at exhibits that bear witness to times long past, foreign cultures, artistic genius, or simply the museum’s excellent curation. We are normally denied a glimpse behind the scenes, into the storage areas and the depot of the Radolfzell City Museum. In Object Karaoke, improvisational artists present objects from the Radolfzell City Museum that they are seeing for the first time on stage. Over the course of six minutes, they are handed a new object every 90 seconds and must present it to the audience in the most original way possible. After each performance, the museum explains the object’s true history to the audience. It is up to the audience to decide, through the volume of their applause, who advances to the finals and wins the first Object Karaoke in Radolfzell. Admission: €6 Reduced: €3
