The special city tour: "Sauhirt Tour" through Haslach

A city tour with the Saukarle (Herbert Rittershofer) in the series DORT - Thursdays in the Ortenau. Until around the middle of the 19th century, there were urban swineherds in Haslach. The swineherd was the third lowest in the hierarchy of herders. Heinrich Hansjakob describes this very well in his book "Schneeballen zweite Reihe." With the swineherd, you can experience the "Good Old Days" of the 19th century while taking a stroll through Haslach, and when fresh meat is available, the swineherd brings along bratwurst and a Black Forest schnapps, which he happily shares with the participants for a small fee.
