With gentle exercises to increase flexibility Characteristic of this yielding yoga style is the prolonged stay in the asanas. The calm and passive movements aim to gently address the connective tissue (fascia), the spine, and the joints. By holding the exercises for a longer duration, our nervous system is calmed, allowing us to release the body in small steps and deeply relax.
