1. Calw Health Fair

Calw will be hosting a large health fair for the first time in the North Black Forest region. Under the motto "Health of the Future – Health for the North Black Forest," everything at the TSV Calw grounds revolves around the topic of health. In addition to numerous lectures on health and offerings from over 50 regional and national exhibitors, all visitors can expect a varied program for young and old alike:

Bosch Health Truck: The "health truck" brings modern technology to Calw. Here, visitors can try out blood pressure monitors, fitness watches, and health apps themselves. Experts will also explain clearly what electronic prescriptions and electronic patient records are all about – and how they make everyday life easier.

Da Vinci Surgical System (Saturday only): A special highlight is the robot for surgeries. On Saturday, Chief Physician Dr. Ulrich Haag will demonstrate how modern technology assists doctors during procedures. Brave visitors can even test the device themselves.

Job Fair (Saturday only): Young people, parents, and career changers can learn about the training opportunities and secure jobs available in the healthcare sector. Schools, universities, and counseling centers will provide practical tips. Additionally, regional employers will introduce themselves directly and answer questions. Young trainees and students will accompany the program as "fair guides" and share their own experiences.

DKMS Donation Campaign (Sunday only): Those interested can register as stem cell donors and help patients with blood cancer.

Children's Program: On both days, a colorful range of activities, supervised by the children's sports school (KiSS) of TSV Calw, will provide entertainment. A raffle in cooperation with Lucky Bike will complement the program.

Experiencing everyday life in old age: With a special "age suit," visitors can feel firsthand how mobility, vision, and hearing change with age – and why barrier-free living is so important.
