Eric Whitacre: The Sacred Veil

Few contemporary composers have shaped the international choral scene as strongly as Eric Whitacre for decades. The Grammy Award winner collaborates with the best in the world, composing works at their request; his pieces are as distinctive as they are groundbreaking for a whole generation of young composers worldwide. In 2023, he performed in Switzerland for the first time; two years later, he is set to return to Swiss concert stages – together with Vocalino Wettingen, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, with Voces Suaves, and a full-length work that holds a very special, personal significance for Whitacre.
