A hike on the high trails around SchluchseeDuring our hike, we visit a secluded pond where beavers have built their dam. From the Bildstein rock, we have a beautiful view of the Schluchsee and the Feldberg. On our tour, we get a glimpse of the Schluchsee district of Äule, which has its origins in a former glassworks, and learn quite a bit about the history and art of glassmaking, as well as its impact on the settlement of the Black Forest and its landscape. Walking time: 5 hours, trekking poles recommended.
