Guided hike: On the way in the Kastelwald

Beautiful circular hike with great views

From Schlettstadtallee, we first hike a short distance up the Ritterweg, but soon turn onto the Dr. Robert Vetterweg and quickly reach the hospital on a flat path. Along the way, we enjoy our first beautiful view of the Schwarzenburg. After that, the Obere Galgenbrückweg winds gently uphill until we reach the Kastelburgtour. Before that, we are treated to a view of Waldkirch and the mountains all the way to Kandel. Now we follow the Kastelburgtour uphill and turn left at the end of the path towards Eulenrank. From here, we walk on a beautiful, soft forest path until we get a view of Übental and Kohlenbachtal, as well as Hörnleberg. At Waldkircher Haseneckle, we continue straight ahead, circling the Kastelberg with magnificent views and passing the Kastelburg until we reach the Ritterweg, which we follow back to the starting point of the tour.
