Historical Castle Tour

Guided tour of the two Gaildorf castles with the legendary city guide Siegfried Engel. During your tour of the Old Castle, you will visit the Wurmbrand Hall with its wooden ceiling from the year 1700, the serving cup, and the wedding room, known as the White Hall, with its stucco ceiling. Before heading to the New Castle, you will take a look at the Old Stable. The New Castle was the widow's residence of Amalie Charlotte Auguste, Countess of Waldeck-Pyrmont and Limpurg-Gaildorf. Today, it houses the city administration. The meeting point for the tour is the courtyard of the Old Castle. Registration for the tour is with the organizer.
