It’s going to be spicy on the island – and diverse! As part of our autumn exhibition 2025, we are fully dedicating ourselves to the fascinating world of chilies. Over 70 different varieties will impressively showcase the enormous diversity of this spicy fruit.
Fascinating questions about chilies: Why are chilies spicy? Which variety is the hottest? How can you successfully grow them in your own garden or on your balcony? And: What health benefits do chilies offer – could they even help with weight loss? We will delve into these and other exciting questions.
Taste, enjoy, take home: Experience the heat live: With the Scoville scale, we will show how the spiciness of chilies is measured – and what that means for your taste buds. On selected days, we also invite you to taste creative chili products that you can purchase on-site.
Chili sales at the autumn exhibition: On selected days, our autumn exhibition will be even hotter: Discover a colorful variety of chili-based food products (sauces, oils, spice mixes) – from mild to really hot, from the all-chili manufactory. Please note that this is not a plant sale.
