Artist Residency Dilsberg

Final presentation of the autumn scholarship holders Frauke Wilken, Cony Theis, Barbara Hindahl The visual artists Frauke Wilken and Cony Theis from Cologne and Barbara Hindahl from Mannheim will provide insights into their work at the conclusion of their working scholarship at the Kommandantenhaus Dilsberg. Since 1997, the Kulturstiftung Rhein-Neckar-Kreis e.V. has awarded up to four scholarships annually in the fields of visual arts, music, or literature to artists from around the world. Over 80 resident artists have lived and worked in the cultural center of the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis for a quarter of a year since then. For many, this time of retreat and engagement with this special place, its history, its people, and its landscape is a very intense period of creation. All scholarship holders continually contribute to making the Kommandantenhaus a place of vibrant and inspiring exchange between artists and an art-loving and curious audience. Admission free.
