The Joscho Stephan Trio is one of the most exciting formations in the acoustic guitar scene and performs at renowned festivals such as the Rheingau Music Festival and the Leverkusen Jazz Days. Influenced by the masterful guitar artistry of bandleader Joscho Stephan, the collaboration with Sven Jungbeck and Volker Kamp creates a modern evolution of classic swing in the style of Django Reinhardt. The trio impresses not only with newly interpreted classics of the genre but also with original compositions that integrate elements from Latin, classical, pop, and rock. This creative mix captivates a wide audience both domestically and abroad, showcasing the trio as musical visionaries. As a guitarist, Joscho Stephan performed alongside Frank Vignola and John Jorgenson at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club in New York, where they played a total of eight shows – another highlight in his international career.
