Do you love Mozart?

As the last of the quartets dedicated to his friend Joseph Haydn, Mozart composed the String Quartet in C Major, KV 465. It received its nickname from the opening measures, which contained many harmonic dissonances for that time. Additionally, the frequent shifts between major and minor created exciting harmonic contrasts. In contrast to some contemporaries, Haydn was very impressed by this quartet. Mozart also dedicated the Clarinet Quintet, KV 581, to a friend, the Viennese clarinetist Anton Stadler, who was considered the best musician on that instrument at the time. With lyrical elements in the melodies, the quintet merges folk-like qualities and quiet grandeur into a thematic unity.
