"LILITH.AEON" explores the future of humanity as an interactive, immersive installation that combines Extended Reality (XR), dance, and artificial intelligence. In "LILITH.AEON," the audience encounters the first transhuman dancer on her journey through multiple stages of incarnation. Thanks to the interaction of the viewers with a trained artificial intelligence, the story of a being is made tangible, appearing uniquely and anew in each performance within an LED cube. With Lilith, the question arises of how a 'human' life beyond our bodies might feel. Through the experience of grief and personal loss, AΦE engages with transhumanism (the use of technology to evolve beyond the limits of human existence) and the story of the youngest person ever cryopreserved. Over seven years of research, conceptualization, and artistic work, the installation "LILITH.AEON" was created using the seamless integration of Unreal Engine, motion capture, AI, machine learning, and 3D animation. It offers a glimpse into another world that is both artistically compelling and emotionally moving. AΦE is the first dance company in the UK to tour internationally with VR and AR productions. Since its founding, it has performed in 20 countries and enjoys the support of some of the most prestigious institutions in the dance world, such as Sadler’s Wells, Chaillot Théâtre National de la Danse Paris, and the Sydney Festival.
