Lecture by Dr. Maren Siegmann, historian of prehistoric and early history. Hermann Daur and the local history association of Kandern initiated an investigation of the burial mounds in Wintersweiler in the spring of 1924. Engaging and rich in background knowledge, Maren Siegmann reports on this excavation, which uncovered ceramic finds from the Hallstatt period.
