City tour following in the footsteps of Radolt

During the 1.5-hour tour of Radolfzell's old town, you will learn interesting facts about the city's history. Bishop Ratold of Verona founded Radolfzell in the year 826 as a spiritual settlement. The city tour will show you how it initially developed into a fishing village and pilgrimage site, and eventually into today's Radolfzell. The tour starts at the city museum in the "Old Town Pharmacy" and takes you through the alleys of Radolfzell's old town. The Cathedral of Our Lady is, of course, a central point of this cultural and historical city tour. Additionally, the tour includes visits to the historic building of the hospital and the Austrian castle. During the summer months, the city tour takes place every Saturday at 11 a.m. Upon request, we can also offer you city tours in English or French.
