Monastery tour at Flechtdorf Monastery

Until October, you can participate in a public tour at 2:30 PM and visit one of the most significant Romanesque buildings in Waldeck-Frankenberg: the double-towered Romanesque monastery complex of Kloster Flechtdorf. Look behind the meter-high walls, into enchanted corners and hidden rooms, and listen to and learn more about the eventful history that the building has to tell.

Afterwards, you can enjoy homemade cakes, coffee, sandwiches, and cold drinks in the cozy atmosphere of the monastery café. The monastery café warmly welcomes you starting at 2:00 PM.
