Pleasure hike to the poppy bloom Germerode

We start the culinary hike at the monastery in Germerode and follow the panoramic trail to the poppy fields. How is poppy cultivated? Why are not all varieties allowed to be used? What can be made from poppy? We will address these and some other questions along the way through the poppy fields. Finally, we will circle Germerode, pass by the lime works, and hike a stretch on the Drinking Water! trail. We will conclude the hike with a picnic of regional delicacies near the mountain wildlife park and return to the monastery Germerode after approximately 8 kilometers.

Registration: via email at post@gruenstiefel.de or by phone at 0176 78050130. After your registration, you will receive an email with an invoice and all important details. Please transfer the participant fee in advance of the tour. Cash payments on site are not possible.

Difficulty: easy to moderately difficult
Duration: approx. 4.5 hours
Cost: 33.00 euros per person, including refreshments; please bring your own drinks during the hike.
Minimum number of participants: 8 people; I reserve the right to cancel the hike if there are fewer registrations.
