Benefit Concert 2025 Amnesty International

This year's benefit concert in support of Amnesty International is being organized for the 41st time by the Müllheim local group. Traditionally, the concert will take place on All Saints' Day, November 1st, at 5 PM in the Martinskirche in Müllheim. This year, it will feature the Freiburg Klezmer band "Yankeles." The musicians include Nico Hutter (clarinet, bass clarinet), Karin Fleck (accordion), Philipp Kurzke (percussion), and Georg Schuppe (double bass). With sparkling charm, the Yankeles present an emotionally charged sound world that invites dancing, dreaming, and smiling! Inspired by the captivating sounds of Klezmer music and the Bessarabian way of life, they paint "one and a thousand musical stories" in words and tones. The irrationality of youthful love, the indifferent ruthlessness of natural forces, the carefree joy of young life – it is the power of pure emotion that moves the Yankeles' audience at their core. By purchasing a ticket, you will support the work of Amnesty International one hundred percent. During the intermission, the Müllheim local group will offer sparkling wine. Tickets at the door (from 4 PM) are 18 euros, and children and young people enter for free.
